JEE Main 2027: photo and signature size

JEE (Main) 2027 Session 1 applications run from 24 October to 22 November 2026. You upload a recent colour passport-size photo with a white background (10-200 KB), a clearly legible signature (10-100 KB) and your Class 10 certificate or marksheet as a PDF (50-300 KB).

A live photo is also taken while you fill in the form, against a white background in proper light. The bulletin gives no pixel sizes, so our presets start from a passport shape and keep the file inside the KB range.

Tips for JEE Main

Use a colour photo; this bulletin does not allow black and white.
Your face (with ears) should fill about 80% of the photo. Turn on the face guide in the photo tool to check.
Scan the Class 10 certificate in good light; if the PDF is too big, use the PDF reducer with the 50-300 KB setting.
